Man Seriously Injured After Fight Breaks Out Over Parking Space In Hartford

A dispute over a parking spot in Connecticut turned violent, when one man used a weapon on another, leaving him beaten and bloody, police said.

Police officers were dispatched to Henry Street in Hartford at approximately 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29, where there was a report of a dispute over a parking space in Hartford that led to an alleged assault.

Upon arrival, police found a man bleeding at the scene with lacerations to his neck, chest and arm, officials said. Further investigation determined that the initial dispute was regarding an argument over a parking space in a Henry Street driveway. The wounds were deemed non-life-threatening.

According to a police report, Hector Delgado, 36, was arrested at the scene, and charged with breach of peace, assault and carrying a dangerous weapon. His alleged victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment on his injuries.
